Prof. Dr. Shamindra Sengupta HOD dept of Oral Pathology DJ Dental College , Modinagar conducted a lecture on Clinical Photography on 23rd July 2013 at ITS Dental College Greater Noida. The main aim of lecture was to upgrade the knowledge in the field of photography,which is becoming a important part of dentistry now- a day. He cover the tropics regarding the equipments(camera),light positioning for inter-oral and extra-oral photos,camera focusing, choice of lens to be used for best result. He emphasis that a clinician should learn all new advancement in field of digital photography,as it was going to be important part of dentistry. A note of thanks was given by Dr. Anmol S. Kalha Director PG Studies to Dr. Shamindra Sengupta.

Indian Prosthodontic Society organized a National Post- Graduate Convention which was jointly hosted by I.T.S Dental College & Hospital, Greater Noida and I.T.S Centre for Dental Studies & Research, Murad Nagar. The three days P.G. convention was held from 14.06.13 to 16.06.13. The theme of this conference as to highlight recent advancements in the fields of Prosthodontic such as :-i) REHABILITATION OF CLEFT LIP AND PALATE, ii) CAD-CAM GENERATED CHAIRSIDE RESTORATIONS iii) REDISCOVERING MAXILLOMANDIBULAR RELATIONS FOR COMPLETELY EDENTULOUS PATIENTS. IV) IMPLANT: - ESSENTIAL, ECONOMIC, ESTHETIC, EASY FOR EVERYONE and etc. This convention was attended by more than 1000 delegates from across the country, wherein they shared their experience & knowledge to provide better treatment modalities to the patients. Dr.Hari Parkash organizing chairperson and Dr. Akshay Bhargava, the organizing secretary said that such conventions are organized once every year in the country by Indian Prosthodontic Society. They further added that such Conventions had been organized for the first time in Delhi-NCR and was jointly hosted by I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida and I.T.S CDSR, Muradnagar. The emphasis is on the need to provide better & latest treatment for patients. This Convention was attended by faculty & P.G. students of Prosthodontics from different parts of the country. Various research papers were presented by the delegates which were highly appreciated by the senior faculty. Dr.Hari Parkash, Director – General, I.T.S Dental College gave detailed information about the convention that had been divided in to three main session. During the first session, research papers were presented by the P.G. delegates from various parts of the country. During the second session guest lectures were delivered by eminent Faculty of Prosthodontic. They threw light on the recent advancements in the field of investigations & treatment modalities of Prosthodontic. The third session was a panel discussion which witnessed active participation of all senior faculty & P.G. students. All post graduate students expressed their happiness & gratitude towards I.T.S Group for providing a congenial environment & an excellent platform for exchange of knowledge.

 Continuing ahead on their stride to provide the best in field for the betterment in patient's treatment and advance education of the doctors, the pioneers in dental health and education ITS Dental College Greater Noida ,for the first time in NCR region organized one of its kind of CDE conference and workshop titled “TADs TODAY”, where in eminent clinicians Dr.Anmol S. Kalha & Dr. Anil K.Chandna speakers in the field of Orthodontic introduced the wide and bright future of TADs in dentistry to a live audience around 150 Doctors and PG Students from various dental fields and specialties. Enumerating the various options and treatment modalities available in TADs application on patient for orthodontic treatment, the audiences were feasted by a live demo on TADs Implant by Dr.Anmol S. Kalha. To further inculcate an interest in TADs, a hands-on session was also organized for the participants. Keynote speaker Dr. O.P Kharbanda also stressed on the advantages of using TADs in routine over the conventional techniques and shared some of his cases with the audiences to prove the level of excellence that can be achieved by using this technique in day to day practice. The session concluded with note of thanks to the speakers by the esteemed Director Pg studies Dr Anmol S. Kalha and urging to the participants to be aware of the newer, better and more precise options of patient treatment for which ITS Dental College shall always be striving for.
