Conference & Seminar's At ITS Dental College, Greater Noida
The courses of higher education explore a plethora of knowledge and industry-building skills. By definition, a seminar is a small discussion-based course in which students and instructors share information and opinions. While seminars vary greatly, they always seek to help students with their academic and social growth as well as their transition to professionals. In most situations, there is a major emphasis on classroom community building. Seminars and Conferences are a channel through which various academic topics can be addressed through well-dignified academic and corporate personalities. They are a way to bring everyone together to focus on a particular topic one at a time which requests participation from everyone present at the event.
ITS Dental College has organized a number of national and international seminars which have been a subject of thoughtful discussions and progressions in the field of dentistry.
ITS Dental College has hosted many seminars from prominent dignitaries over the years. One of the key seminars includes the 41st National Conference ISPPD- PEDOVIBES hosted by the college from 7th November to 9th November 2019. The ISPPD conference observed the participation of more than 1500 delegates. Similarly, the college organized the 23rd Indian Orthodontic Society PG Students Conference which observed the participation of more than 1300 delegates.
Seminars provide a logical framework for encouraging active student engagement in learning about the college’s life and activities; for assessing and discussing student/institutional fit; and promoting social and academic integration. As a result, seminars and conferences cater to both institutional and student needs. The main goal of these seminars is the formation of a community of learners. Active participation help students form and maintain meaningful friendships and professional corporal relationships which contribute to the growth of strong communities. In seminars, significant two-way contact between lecturer and student is common, and it is frequently done through the use of formal and informal feedback approaches.
